[Accidental video post]

[The PCD switches on with a fizz, placed on a table in the kitchen of Saul's small riverside house. Saul is sitting by an open window, looking distinctly better than he had last time around, and also looking totally blissed out. He leans out of the window, holding onto a long pole and staring outside eagerly.

A moment later he hauls in the catch - a large cooking pot tied to the edge of the pole, now containing a respectable amount of steaming hot lasagna. With a great bright smile, he sets it down on the table next to a bottle already full of the red wine that rained earlier, and settles into a chair, rubbing his hands together in satisfaction.]

Perfection. Wherever it comes from, they have a fine cook.

[He notices the recording then, but just smiles at it as he switches it off.]

3rd Step: A little taste of home [video, posted towards evening]

[The PCD clicks on to show Saul sitting somewhere outdors next to a huge blazing bonfire. Flushed and grinning, he's clearly a little bit drunk, and has a green wreath perched on his head at an awkward angle. He reaches up a hand to straighten it, laughing, then toasts the camera with a bottle of unknown (but apparently potent - it's still mostly full) liquor.]

Biana Mithralia!
Praise the Unconquered Sun!

I know you strange land's people are busy with your strange festival, but if you become tired of it, the bonfire will stay ablaze until tomorrow's dawn, and I have roasted wolf-meat. Have you ever tried wolf? I have, but I've tried everything.

[He laughs again and takes a good long drink of the bottle.]

I hope the Risen Son doesn't mind wolf's-blood offering instead of ox for his waking-feast, or we'll have another week's darkness. Hah! No matter. It's summer now in Ilyiga, and if twice Mithralia in one year won't buy me favor with him, I don't know what else might.

[Chuckling, he turns back to the fire and splashes some liquor into it, watching the flames as the feed clicks off.]
